Why people call
Three kinds of care
Plans often split preventive visits, basic work such as fillings, and major work such as crowns. They do not all start on day one.
The maximum matters
A plan can pay only up to an annual maximum. A lower premium can come with a lower maximum. We put those next to each other.
Your dentist
An in-network dentist changes what you pay. Bring the office name. Ameritas is one carrier we have listed. The right plan still depends on your dentist and ZIP code.
What to compare
Look at the waiting period for basic and major care, the annual maximum, and whether your dentist is in network. Preventive care is often available sooner than a crown. A missing-tooth clause on some plans limits work to replace a tooth you lost before the policy started. We look for that line.
Dental insurance is not medical insurance. It also is not the dental extra inside a Medicare Advantage plan. If you have Medicare, we will not describe an Advantage dental allowance on this page. A standalone dental policy is its own contract.
Call or text (321) 429-1182. Say who needs coverage and the ZIP code. We do not publish a monthly price.
A consultation with this office is free. Nothing on this page is a binder of coverage.
Questions people ask
Can I add dental to a Marketplace health plan?
Often yes, as a separate policy or as a plan offered beside the medical plan. We will say which one it is. Dental financial help is not the same as a medical premium tax credit. We will not guess a dollar amount.
Why is there a waiting period?
Many dental plans make you wait months for basic or major work so people do not buy a policy the week they need a crown. Preventive visits may be covered sooner. We will not enroll you and imply a crown is covered next week if the contract says otherwise.
What is an annual maximum?
The most the plan pays in a year for covered care. After that, you pay the rest. A low premium with a low maximum can be a poor fit if you expect major work. We show both numbers on the quote.
Does the plan cover implants or orthodontics?
Only if the contract says so. Many plans exclude implants or adult orthodontics, or they apply a separate waiting period. We read that section. We do not promise either benefit.
I already need a crown. Will a new plan pay for it?
Maybe not right away, and maybe not at all if a missing-tooth or waiting-period rule applies. Tell us about the work before you buy. We would rather delay the policy than sell one that will not pay the claim.
Do you publish a monthly price?
No. Dental prices change with age, ZIP code, and the level of coverage. We show you a quote before you apply.
Is this the same as Medicare dental?
No. Original Medicare generally does not cover routine dental. Some Advantage plans include dental, and that extra is not this policy. We do not list dollar allowances for Medicare dental here.
Is the quote free?
Yes. The consultation is free. You decide whether to enroll.
